Md Fazlul Hoque — the green future of Bangladeshi knitwear

Md. Fazlul Hoque brings twenty years in the knitwear industry: former President of the Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers & Exporters’ Association for six years, administrator of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and Managing Director of Plummy Fashions Ltd. He has also served as President of the Bangladesh Employers’ Federation and Director of the International Apparel Federation.

Those roles took him across every major sourcing market, and that fluency in what global buyers demand now shapes Plummy Fashions’ push toward sustainable, accountable manufacturing — most visibly through The Green Knit, its ground-breaking apparel manufacturing unit.
