Global Political Economy

This course focuses on the evolution of key aspects of world economic governance, including institutions and practices in such policy arenas as trade, money, finance, investment, migration, energy, climate, health, and development. Historical and theoretical frameworks for understanding continuity and change in efforts to address problems requiring collective action on a global scale are introduced. Student course work will concentrate on specific problems being addressed or needing soon to be addressed at the system level.
