The Politics of U.S. Foreign Policy

This course aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the history, institutions and controversies surrounding the making and implementation of U.S. Foreign Policy. It begins with the examination of the historical development of the institutions involved in the shaping of U.S. Foreign Policy. The second half of the course explores policy through a series of regional and thematic case studies.
